Watch me talk about yarn, and which colour ways go together
I live in beautiful North Yorkshire with my husband and my two Cocker Spaniels. I am rarely seen without knitting needles or a crochet hook in my hand, when i am not at my dye pots in the studio. I love being creative with yarn and thinking up new colour combinations.
I only dye small batches of a specific colour way and i will only dye the colour way once, so when its gone, its gone:) That way, your projects will always be unique. The skeins are all very similar, i just twist them differently so you get a good all round view of the skein :)
Every single skein in my shop is hand dyed and hand painted, with love and care, by myself. I take immense joy from the dyeing process and hope this is reflected in my yarn and i can spread a little joy to my customers. Most of my yarns contain silk or cashmere, or both...one of my favourite yarns to dye is a mix of baby alpaca, silk and cashmere. My yarns can be used for knitting and crochet.
We know deciding which yarns work together can be tricky, so drop us a line through the contact page and we will be happy to help and provide some ideas. If you are unsure of how my yarns will look knitted up, please check the "yarn facts" menu option where i have provided some guidance.
